Having been to Chicago, I then flew up to Vancouver to meet up with a friend and also an ex-lecturer - the infamous Dr Ian Matthew!! Again, I had a fantasic time up there; managed to see some surgery, but unfortunatley didn't get time to see any of the big sites such as Grouse Mountain, Whistler or go Whale Watching!! Maybe another holiday will allow me to spend some time over there.
The scenary is absolutely breath taking! Well worth a visit.
